I have a 1967 Ford 3000 gas tractor that is 40 hp and I think 38 hp at the pto. Can anyone tell me if this tractor will handle a 6 foot King Kutter Tiller?

38 pto hp is plenty for that size tiller

That should be a perfect match for your tractor! Have fun with it. :p

HP-wise, you're covered......More than enough in fact. Problem MIGHT arise with gearing though. Is your 3000 a 6-speed or 8-speed. Low gear MIGHT not be low enough in some conditions either way, with 6-speed being worse of the pair. The only time it will be an issue is in sod or really hard ground.

I have a 1968 Ford 3000 and use a 6' King Kutter tiller with it. It works great. Mine is an 8 speed too. I make two passes--three if I'm breaking new ground and it tills up beautifully.
