I am looking at buying a 22-30 HP compact utility tractor and was wondering if I needed rear remote hydraulics. I am used to driving 100 HP farm tractors and the rear remotes are used to power lift cylinders on plows and disks or a to rotate a bailer or chopper chute. I obviously don't plan on doing anything like that with this little tractor.
So, what kind of smaller implements need rear remote hydraulics? If I added a sub-frame style backhoe, would it use the remotes, a separate pump, or a diverter valve?
Thanks!
