My mechanic said the joystick controller needs rebuilding on my Koyker 80 loader. Anyone know if Koyker makes rebuild kits? A new controller runs 400 dollars (!)

Is the valve leaking ? controls sloppy ? Koyker does stock some linkage parts,if it's leaking it could be a o-ring,I don't think they make a repair kit for the valve, the individual parts cost are high.

Don't know which valve you have ???.... joy stick or if it has two levers ?

No rebuild kits that I have seen, got or ever offered. I have gotten replacement spool valves before but that depends on which valve you have.

I may have a new replacement joy stick valve replacement on the shelf (less than $400.00) ?? But I would need to see a picture / pictures of yours and the mounting bracket to be sure.

The valve rubber cover is torn (where the joystick comes out), and the area looks damp. The cylinders and lines do not leak.

#2. and the area looks damp.

#1. I have replacement covers.

#2. If it only looks damp and is not forming a tear drop or drops ??? I dont think that justifies a rebuild / replace yet ?? If it is just weeping enough to keep it damp might be hard to fix ?

I agree with RHS, probably not worth a rebuild-and it might not get any better.Spray it off with brake cleaner and see how long it takes it get "damp" again.
