So I know it's been covered before but I'm want to purchase a box blade this week. I've 3 brand/models I've been looking at. All 60" to be mounted on my NH TC30. Any opinions on a best?

Woods GB60/BSS60 (apparently the BSS is the new model)
Land Pride BB2560
Bush Hog SBX60

Thanks

Matt

I have a Woods GB72 and it is a animal. I highly recommend the woods brand.

Really nice welds and well put together. Easy to get the scarifiers off. Easy to hook up; works flawless with the quickhitch.

Looking at Woods website, I didn't find a BSS60, but did find a BSE5. It is a lighter duty model at 351 # than the GB60 at 495 #.

Thanks for the advice Matt

Green- I called around price checking the Woods and a dealer told me that BSS60 was a new model replacing the GB. I don't want the lighter duty.

thanks for the input

I have looked at all of them, although the woods was the gb modle. I have a landpride 2566 and after just spending the day today out looking a tractor stuff that this is a much better built bb then the other two.

If you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for it and how long ago did you get it? I just looked at a 6' standard duty Modern Dragon brand today and was quoted a price of $1010.00 before tax. It is a nice BB similar in design to the Cammond, but they are proud of them.

I have a United 60" box scrape that I have had no problems with. It is built very well. I purchased it used for $250.

I think is was like 1200.00 purchased in 05. it is heavy and well built, two guys I work with also have this model in 72" they use behind Grand L 4330's.

You are gonna pay for the heavy duty units, I do recommend a hydraulic one if you plan on using it alot.

Oh yea they will also paint it whatever tractor color you want.
