Anyone have any information on this tiller, maybe how i can go about finding a manual for it? Redoing bearings/races/seals - have parts on order. Last "user" didn't periodically check oil and ran it dry. The bearing next to the pinion gear exploded due the lack of lubrication and dinged up the ring and pinion gears. They should be ok. It also busted out the straight keys and a chunks of the shaft on the ring gear shaft - one one each side of the pumpkin. I think Long still makes tractors but the name has changed w/ new owners a couple times. I know it is at least 15 years old as it was picked up at a farm sale and it was a "used" implement then. Any info on who Long has become? Maybe I could contact them.

at some point lg from korea made some of the longs, i'm not 100% sure but i would be the implements that bear their name were built on a contract with some other company. the lg name has changed several times and is now ls mtron company still in korea. it is possible at 15 years old it was even when goldstar was at the helm. i would try to contact a montana dealer, because they get their units from ls also ls is starting to sell under their own name also so you might want to try that route. this is probably you're best option.

I am looking for a service/parts breakdown. Did you ever find one?
