Woods GB72 Box Blade
Folks,
I bought a WOODS GB 72 brand new still on the pallet...only to find that it does not cover my tire tracks.
So I bought a WOODS HB 84 - And am very happy
Except what to do with a NEW WOODS GB 72 -- So I have decided to endure the ire of several longstanding members and post this thread offering to:
SELL the WOODS GB 72 6 Foot Box Blade for $800.00 to anyone within 50 miles of Austin, Texas - I will deliver within the 50 miles.
The price is $800.00 - Delivered, new on the pallet to a buyer whom is interested, I am just trying to cover my cost..and keep from living in my shop as my wife is not pleased with TWO box blades in the shop.
PLEASE CONTACT STEVEN @ 512-791-4982
Thanks to all whom may be interested."a country boy can survive"

Re: Woods GB72 Box Blade
That's a nice box blade. What tractor didn't it cover tracks for?

Re: Woods GB72 Box Blade
Kubota L4310 - The tires are not orginal and thus wider that the R1's I had on the tractor - never thought to measure before buying..I needed a box blade to "edge" along the fence line and other applications.

Re: Woods GB72 Box Blade
Thats a nice box. I wish I was lived closer to you, I would take it off your hands. If you don't mind checking, how thick is the square tube that holds the scarifiers. I'm in the market for a box blade and I've been looking at a bunch of different ones, (locally and on the net) and that is one dimension that is hardly mentioned in the specs.
Thanks,

GIJOE
The steel shanks are held in place by a 4x4 (11 guage) about 1/4 to 3/8th Thick Square steel - no welded channel iron as you will find in the other junk. Also on the Woods models there is a quick change feature that allows three shanks to be changed out at a time with only one pin. The welded supports to the A-Arms keep the hitch from bending up. Hope this helps -"a country boy can survive"

Re: Woods GB72 Box Blade
Yep the shanks are two at a time on the GB 72 - with my abundance of box blades I got the features mixed up.
Thanks for the correction."a country boy can survive"
