Anybody out there know of a source for the shanks for my box blade? When I bought the tractor, some items were missing, and the previous owners husband is not available to tell her where they are stored at. I need new ones!

FWIW - I've purchased King Kutter implements from Quality Farm and Fleet and they carry the common replacement parts. I know I've seen Scarifier's on the shelf.

Thanks Tom, I've looked at tracor Supply and they miss the western states. Unless of course I wanted to drive to someplace like Cheyenne Wyoming...a little too far. I don't remember them having shanks on their website, but I will check both of them out. Thanks again

I don't find the scarifier shanks in my printed Tractor Supply Co. catalog (1977 edition).

I am still looking for these little critters. The openings on the box blade are 2 3/4" X 7/8", and there is no hardware on the box blade for height adjustment. If I remember correctly, there are two types of adjustment, the spring clip type, and the pin type. The one site I found that listed the scarafier shanks had a price of $36.+ for each one....a litttttttttlllllllllee high for my liking.
Any other suggestions out there guys?

You could always check with the manufacturer of the box blade, but I doubt that will yield a lower price (probably just the opposite)

Hayden, you're right! Definately more expensive! I don't see anything spectacular about them, but what the heck, I guess they must be gold plated or something. I am looking for functional, cheap, (cheaper is better) and available.

On a source for ripper shanks. Evacuation Supply @1-800-624-1727 has, for the Gannon box, scraper shanks @24.95 and the replacement tooth @ 3.10. This is a dated catalog and prices most likely are up a bit. Part # on shank is #175 WO and on the tooth it is #175. Good outfit to do business with.
By the way they also have the cutting tips for most post hole augers as well.

Hope this helps,
george
