Hey everybody!

As it turned out, I was needing a set of discs, so I mentioned it to my dad. Apparently, a guy he works with gave him two sets last year (a 3pt set and a pull type set, both "older models that work"). Well, I am now the proud owner of a Ford model 205 and an antique horse drawn single gang setup. Total cost - about $5.00 in gas and three hours time. There are 3 discs that are broke, so I'm anticipating replacing all the discs on the front gang (the back gang still have a lot of life left in em) and I have a few questions: notched or straight? I know notched cut better, but would they work okay with this setup? We have mostly hard clay around here (I just plowed my neighbors garden for em, it was almost as hard as concrete, it took 5 or 6 passes with a 6' KKII tiller after plowing to get it broke up enough to even think about planting, but if they don't do something with it, with a few rain showers, it will be back to the way it was) and I see that would be quite an advantage, but would leaving the rear gang the straight type hurt the way it performs?

I will be using it as-is here in a few days om my 3 1/2 acre garden to see how well it performs. I have greased the front gang, replaced the fittings and greased the rear gangs, tightened all the loose bolts, replaced a few missing bolts and ran a few beads on broken parts of the frame. Is there anything that I am forgetting? And, does anybody have a manual?

Pics attached.

Thanks all,

Danny
