Anybody have any opinions / experience on using a 4' or 5' king kutter rotary cutter on the back of a kubota b7500hsd? (Can the kubota handle it?)

Not exactly.. But from what I see, a Kubota 7500 is similar to a JD 4100. I just bought a 5' KK kutter that I'm using on a JD 4200, and it's working very well on it.. But I don't think I'd want a 5' on anything smaller. I'd think a 4' would work well on a 7500.

I just purchased a KK 4' rotary cutter for my new JD4110. I think that the 5' would be a little much. I have not used it yet because when I hooked it up I needed to exchange the pto shaft with a longer unit so that it would work correctly with my tractor. The other thing is that there is a thread on this forum related to the King Kutters three point hitch lower pins being to high for Kubota's. My JD4110 has no problem with the pin position and I still have plenty of lift to transport and get the cutter over obsticals. I will post some pictures tomorrow of the tractor and cutter connected. I am also using a quick hitch purchased through TSC (JD I-Match System). This is realy the way to go for quickly hooking up three point hitch attachments, very slick.

Dmuench,

I'm glad to hear you're happy with your King Kutter 5' brush hog on your 4200. I intend to buy one for mine as soon as my local TSC gets some in. Apparently KK is running about four weeks back on order processing right now and it looks like another couple weeks before I'll be able to get one from them.

If Pieter at First Choice could get me one quicker (hint, hint), I'd sure try a five footer of his./w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif I'd think there'd be a prototype or early production one around somewhere... maybe even in green./w3tcompact/icons/grin.gif

My neighbor has a new B7500hsd he purchased with a 60" mid-mount mower & a Woods 4' rotary cutter per dealers advice. This is a nice setup.

I have a 5' Land Pride that gets a work-out behind my JD4400, I think a 5' rotary cutter will be too much for tractors in the size of your B7500, you might have enough HP to turn the mower but the weight will be too much.

I'm peddling as fast as I dare, Gary. We are ready to begin production on our cutter line up, but wish to get all ducks in a row before official launch. For a sneak peek, you can go to our temporary site. As I mentioned in the tiller thread, this site is in response to the flood of requests from TBN'ers and others. I promise to have a much more professional attempt and place it on a dedicated server soon. This one will at least whet your appetites and allow you to help us design a site which is tailored to what you need in an equipment manufacturer's site. Please feel free to provide input on both the products represented and the content of the site (keeping in mind I'm adding to it daily and the format will be changing soon)

JimMc,

Nice site! It's hard to tell from a photo, but it looks like you have a real nice selection of equipment. Those "30" series cutters have a pleasing line to them. Will you post full specs on your site (eventually)?

Be sure to keep us updated on the progress as you build up the business!

Best of Luck,
John Bud

Looking good so far. If I might make a suggestion. As you build the site, make a more professional attempt as you said, remember who and where a large portion of your customers are located. Out in the boonies with no access to broadband ISP services.

Nothing is more irritating than going to a site and waiting for 5 minutes while the page comes up. All because some programmer decided to try and impress people with his graphics and flash animation skills.

Simple and functional is better.

Those rotary cutters look a lot like the JD rotary cutter I have which is junk.
