I've been thinking and reading about a PTO chippers for a long while and can't count the number of Jinma vs. others threads I have read. I thought a Jinma was in my future, but I find myself leaning towards the Wallenstein at the moment.
Why? I like it when my machines work when I have time to work and I'm not yet one who links to tinker with everything mechanical to get the job done. Hence, it sounds like perhaps Jinma is not for me, and if I spend a few hundred more dollars, I can get something a bit more reliable and bulletproof.
I find myself now asking if there is a true advantage to the 6" BX62 Wallenstein chipper compared to the 4". Sure, bigger size. But will the 6" unit self feed better becuase of the increased momentum in the larger wheel, bigger knives, etc?
Any comments would be great. Any first hand experience with the self feeding Wallenstein units would be even better. And any experience directly comparing the Jinma with the feed rollers and a self feeding Wally would be ideal.
I have a 45 HP @ the PTO tractor, so I can handle the large BX62 without problems I believe.
Thanks!
