Grapple Kubota BX25 Grapple

Anyone have any luck mounting a grapple to the FEL bucket? If so, which one? I have looked at several, but they all seem like overkill in both size and weigh for a BX25. If I can稚 find one available, I guess I will make one.

Do a search on Brotek (?Bro Tek) grapples. They are designed specifically for the BX as bucket grapple add ons. Your loader is not strong enough to mount a separate grapple but a bunch of people have put the bucket grapple on with good results. You'll also need a hydraulic diverter valve or install as set of rear remotes to be able to control the grapple.

Thanks. I have looked at the Bro-tek Thumbs, but I have not found a grapple on their site. I have looked at the Dehner Welding Grapple - emailed him twice and asked specifically if he has sold any to mount on a BX25 - he responds to the email but avoids the question. The Kubota dealer is installing remote hydraulics to operate top/tilt/ and rippers - I will have a spare outlet to run a grapple.

I don稚 plan on grabbing anything heavy with the grapple - just light brush, limbs. etc.

I have a kubota 3240 with 724 loader (small 66" hvy duty round back bucket) and mounted "the thumb" grapple onto my bucket top lip. I did not have to beef up the bucket any at all. I run the thumb from my rear remote (valve nice and handy located inside the cab).

Results are, once yo get good at using it (small learning curve) it is amazing!!! You will be amazed at how much brush this little thumb will pick up.

If you don't have a hvy duty kubota bucket you may have to add a support across the top of your bucket.

I have also been looking for a bucket grapple for a BX24 something easily removable and light weight for the BX. Let us know if there is something that you can provide, as I am sure others would be interested.
