Tractor
B2920
Hi,

I'm new here and found this to be an incredibly useful resource for anything tractor related.

I am in the market for a chipper/shredder to attach to my B2920.
Has anybody compared the BXM models with the Woods 5000 chipper/shredder.
The BXM come with the chute installed, while it is only any option for the Woods. However, the Woods claims bigger chipping capacity (up to 5"). It seems to me that aside from the chute, one gets more chipper for the money.
I was wondering which one would be easier to maintain (e.g. access to chipper blades etc) or more expensive to own (e.g. cost of replacement blades).

Any thoughts? Many thanks in advance.

I just purchased a BMX 32, it works well so far easy to access to where the blades are located (1 bolt). I don't know how it would compare to a woods and I'm not concerned with chippining anything over 3" that's for the woodstove. I love the shredder portion and adjustable chute. Good luck!
