It is definitely tighter in there...but perfectly doable especially since your not exhausted from hooking up the implement to the 3PH:D

And the "standard" we are talking about is the ASAE standard that applies to CAT1 implements.

I don't have any trouble, but my equipment has always been fairly easy...

Now, where that block of wood?

What I do is completely remove the PTO shaft from both the implement and tractor...keep the complete shaft in the garage. That way I can run out to my "Equipment Yard" snap on whatever attachment I'm wanting and then drive out to my garage where I can easily attach both ends of the shaft.
On my tiller because of the Clutch I remove just the tractor end of the shaft, the stub left isnt long enough to drag in the ground or interfere with Hooking the iMatch without leaving my seat.

Added bonus to this method...Greasing the PTO shafts is much easier :D along with the benefit of the Sun doesnt "eat" the plastic shielding...

I bought Pat's easy hitch and the added length of the lower arms could not be compensated for by my dealer installed Kubota supplied hydraulic top link (part of TNT installed earlier.) I told Pat's outfit of the problem and built a dead simple extender for my top link. Pat fabricated a professional one for me and shipped it to me for free. I really like his system. I do abuse it but it has never failed me.

My 6 ft brush hog is frequently elevated at a 35-45 degree angle with the hydraulic top link and I back up to trees up to 4-5 inches in diameter and then lower the cutter slowly all the way down chewing them to shreds. This can shake the tractor pretty violently but the hitch has never shown any signs of distress.

I have a 1300+ lb 6 ft box blade with hydraulic scarifiers and I get pretty frisky with it but Pat's easy system has never had a problem.

I used to dread changing 3PH implements as it could take from 3 min to 45 min or longer to hitch one up without Pat's system. I broke several 2x6 boards trying to lever a heavy implement over just a tad to hook it up. Get in the tractor back up a bit get out look at the 3PH get back in the tractor jog it a bit this way or that... lather rinse repeat again and again. Of course with 2 people I can swap big heavy implements in about 5-10 min. By myself with Pat's system I can swap implements in 3-6 min or there abouts. I can do it faster by myself with Pat's system than I could do it with a good helper and no Pat's.

I broke a lower arm in half. A clean break that was welded back together and reinforced with another piece of metal. Pat's parts were not hurt before or after. Pat's system takes a real beating but works fine for me. I have the adjustable spacer thing but don't use it and probably couldn't find it if I looked for it. It would save time some of the time if I used it but I just never did get used to using it. It wasn't hard to use and If I come across it I may start using it again.

Pat (not related to the Pat of Pat's easy hitching system)
