Landpride FD 2572 part question

I need a new side blade spindle for this finish mower. It has the older spindle with the woodruff key and the newer spindle will not work.
Other than making a sleeve for the inner bearing race does anyone know what parts would be needed to use new items to repair? My dealer's parts person hasn't a clue.
Better yet does anyone have a good old style shaft they would sell?

The LandPride website parts descrption seems to agree with your issue. Is this what you are dealing with? Parts are serial number based (age dependent).

Hey Jeff, Do you have part #'s for OLD and new shaft? (are they different part #'s???) There's a dealer just up the road from me that handles a LOT of Landpride stuff. (Part of Jacobi chain) They have a parts guy who is first rate. If I had the numbers, I could stop in and see if the old shaft is still available. Be more'n happy to do so.

Send me all the part #'s and a detailed explaination of what you have and what you need.

Did you provide the machine's serial number?

LP's parts lookup for the FD2572 shows part numbers for keyed spindle shafts based on serial number.

Shaft 310-032D requires a 1/4x3/4" woodruff key and is used on machines before serial number 30987.
