There is just no way to add a quick attach of any sort to the factory lift arms and NOT alter some aspect of the lift. It is physically impossible. The only way to get quick attach hooks and not change any aspect of the hitch would be to cut the ends off the arms and place the hook so that it is in the same place the original eye was.

I agree but it makes more sense to Me the extending the lower arms & putting more stress on everything . even if it is just 2 or 3 inches. Looks like a great deal to Me. But of coarse you have to get off the tractor. which is needed anyway if You have to atach the PTO shaft .

As far as it effecting the Height of the impliment , thats a pretty simple fix as well IMO

I already have my quick hitch, so I'm not really interested in changing that part. But I was wondering if anybody has a fertilizer spreader that is working on a quick hitch.

No photos of it (mounted), sorry. Standard farm store stuff, of Italian manufacture I think. Red paint, all metal, cone style, 10 bushel size I think. Have had as much as half a ton of pelletized lime and/or fertilizer in it occasionally. 'Course ya gotta have a fair sized tractor to carry that much around behind ya, so it's smart to size the spreader to the tractor weight - especially since (my) QH sets all that weight several inches farther back.

I have the farm store red and black fertilizer/seed spreader that I use with my Speeco quick hitch. The Speeco has an adjustable top hook and came with a clevis yoke style adapter too. My spreader doesn't work with the top hook but it does with the yoke.

You have to get off the tractor to hook it up but you have to hook up the shaft anyway. I find I may get off the seat to hook up most of my quick hitch implements for some reason like lifting the rear blad kickstand, etc. The main reason I use the quick hitch is so I don't have to wrestle with the bottom pin alignment like on a 700 pound tiller by myself. I am only 5'9" and 50 years old. My friends rib me about the hitch but I never strain my back or get my foot under an implement from hooking up the bottom pins.

I haven't seen any spreader that allows from-the-seat hookup completely. The top yoke adapter was the key for my quick hitch purchase choice.

Here is the reality....

The lift arms on most tractors will come very close to dragging the ground when they are lowered all the way down. When lowered, mine are less than an inch off the ground. On a standard Cat.1 lift arm, the EZ-HITCH raises the lifting point 2 1/2", so lets say that the minimum distance between the draw pin and the ground will be 4". The only way this will ever affect performance, is if you have an implement that goes so deep into the ground that the draw pins need to get closer to the ground than the 4" allowed by the EZ-HITCH. There may be some implements that fall into that category, but I have yet to run across any.

Now, on the opposite end of the spectrum; there may be times that you could use the added 2 1/2" of clearance that the EZ-HITCH provides.

It also appears that, if you really wanted to, you could flip the EZ-HITCH upside-down, and force your implement right into the ground! You could go subterranean, if necessary!
