ford 1210 - ford 821
I'm trying to attach a kubota backhoe to my 1210 ford tractor and i'm not sure where to hook up the two main lines. I tried hooking to the same place that the front loader hooks by "T"ing in but when all hooked up nothing works. I am using the same two lines that the previouse owner used but I noticed that there is another line with a cap on it ???????. The ford owners manual is vage at best. Please help me I need this little machine to work for me.

If your tractor has "open center" hydraulics (I cannot find whether it does or not), you cannot have a tee fitting; the system works by "stopping up" a constant flow of hydraulic fluid to create pressure. An "open center" valve may have (besides the ports to go to cylinders or motors) an input, a drain to tank, and sometimes a "power beyond" port, so that you can attach that to another valve in series with the other.
First, find out your type of hydraulic system, then it should be easy to work from there.
