Default Countyline Tiller is this a King Kutter?

I've been looking around at tillers, I've got rocky soil, therefore something strong with slip clutch is mandatory.

Does anyone know if this tiller is a king kutter?

I'm not planning on using a bunch, but need for it to work when I do use it.

Any other suggestions at reasonably priced tillers?

    Thanks
    Joel

That pic and the specs sure look and sound like a King Kutter Tiller. I would ask and confirm at TSC. I sure like mine.

    Thank you,
I re-read the post referenced above and sure does look to be the King Kutter gear drive tilller. They look identical also.

I'll go take a look this weekend.

Would sure be nice to have a tiller, had one prior and did a great job at getting out all the shallow rocks, I do the heavy breaking with the box blade rippers.

Getting the final stages of yard preparation for grass.

I'm thinking I can also do some small scale tilling work locally.

Yes ,the CountyLine is made by King Kutter. This is a private label exclusive to TSC. If you look on the sticker on the implement, it states "for questions contact King Kutter at (phone number)". The TSC here in Plant City had 2 tillers of each label and they looked identical down to the number and placement of every bolt.

    Joel,

I bought my KK tiller at the Milford TSC. When I was in the yard they had my KK 6ft tiller right next to a 5ft Countryline. Except for the length and the decals they were absolutely identical just as Suncoast stated. I also called KK and asked them the question and was told exactly that...the decals are different per request of TSC, everything else is the same and they are made at the same time of identical components.

Bought a 6' Countyline tiller at TSC after checking out a 5' KingKutter tiller at another store. I measured the thickness of the steel on the KK & the CL, appears to be the same. When I got the Countyline tiller home the manual that came with it advised you to contact KK for parts, questions etc. The last page of the manual is the warranty page and has KingkutterII at the top of the page. Looks like TSC has done a good thing for it's customers on this move. If I remember correctly the 6' KK I looked at several months ago was pushing $3000.00. The 6' Countyline tiller I bought was 1629.00 (listed on TSC's internet site at $1900.00).
