I need to haul a few tons of wood and wood chips out of a pasture. Anyone have general advice on what to look for in a carryall and where I can find them? I have a B2710 Kubota.

Thanks in advance

If you are handy at all you can save some money by buying a 3 point lift (i think it is called that) and building a box out of 2x6. The 3pt lift I am talking about is basically a connection and two steel bars that you could attach a box to. About $70 for the 3pt lift plus the wood.

How do you define "carryall?" I'm not sure what you're talking about.

A carryall is a simple 3PH Frame that supports a platform or box. You can see one at www.ssbtractor.com. It effectively turns your tractor into a little pickup truck. I keep a 3PH pallet fork with a big box on it (same idea as a dedicated carryall) attached to my JD955 most of the time and find it very handy for toting things around, serving as a ballast box for my loader, hauling firewood, chainsaws, DR Trimmer, etc.

I just wanted to make sure we were thinking of the same thing. In that case, Tractor Supply Co. also sells them; $59.99 in my 1997 catalog.

How do you plan to load it, do you have a front end loader on your Kubota?

I'm thinking that, now some thirteen years after the original post, they've figured something out. That said, I suppose that I have many projects that I'm still pondering after even longer...

I can't figure out how this happened. I always click "Today's Posts" to find threads that interest me.

I clicked "Attachments", and somehow ended up on the last page, not the first page where the new posts are.

I guess the good thing is I now hold the record for responding to the oldest deadest post!

Yeah - I was surprised. It's usually the members with only a handful of posts...
