cadplans
Has anyone ever built a hoe or anything using Cadplans? I am kicking around the idea of a 3pt. hoe for my L2500.

Re: cadplans
Hi
There are a few cadplan experienced folks out there. My buddy and I are just beginning to build a model 821 using a Honda Civic as our power plant - I sure am glad he knows what he is doing and I get to learn at the shop of a guy, like wroughtn harv, who has lots of toys and is very generous in sharing his experience. My next challenge is to get him plugged into the web so he can contribute to this TBN community.
I hope we will have some pictures to post over the next few weeks - I am searching for some free picture posting site so we can keep a log of our progress - open to suggestions.
Good luck on your project - we decided not to use the 3ph digger because of the strain on the tractor (and he had the Honda just looking for some thing to be attached to it

Re: cadplans
Sure hope you'll post pictures of the project. It sounds interesting. How about starting a series...heck, document it for a book! Make your money back and then some! Lol!!

Re: cadplans
I built the model 508 (Cat. 0 model) originally for my old Simplicity Sovern, I now use it on BX2200. Works great for my needs and I'm sure the larger models are even better. Easy to build and economical.

Re: cadplans
cj7,
If you want to know anything about Cadplans Backhoe go to Compact Tractor Board. Go to attachments, open backhoe, then open everything by Bill Mullens. You will find out quite a bit the Cadplans backhoe and how to build it.
