I have a Green PHD with a 1.5" round power head. One of my augers fits, but I have another designed to fit a 2.0" round head. I am looking for a bushing/sleeve spacer type adapter with O.D. of 2.0" and I.D. of 1.5" and 3" length to fill the gap, preferably flanged on top so that it cannot slip down into the flight body beyond the 3", and also with through bolt holes on opposing sides. I also want to buy a Pengo auger designed to fit a 2" hub to fit on this PHD.

Anybody know of a source for such an adapter? The closest I have come is a brass bushing with no flange and no through holes. I would prefer steel with flange and holes, designed for this specific purpose.

I made an adapter once using a piece of pipe. The pipe was about 6-8" long. One end slipped over the PHD shaft and the other insided of the auger shaft. The pin holes were different sizes at both ends which is why I used a longer piece of pipe rather than just a spacer. Both ends were a little loose but it didn't seem to matter when drilling a hole. If you wanted both ends to be a tight fit and of high strength, I would use separate pieces of pipe for each side and have them fit snugly. Use a heavy thick walled pipe for each side and then have the 2pieces welded together. This is basically what bobcat does to make extensions for their augers. Depending on your auger bit, if the auger bit shaft has a long hollow end, you could make that portion 12-18" long and drill holes at various lengths. Then you would essentially have and auger extension if you ever needed one.
