Square Bale Hay Accumulator/Grapple "Grapalator"
We came out with the "Grapalator" earlier this year. It accumulates, transports, and loads square bale hay. I was hoping to get some feedback. Has anyone used one of our "Grapalators" and if so how is it working?
Info on "Grapalator" Grapalator
Video of "Grapalator" Video Gallery
Thanks,
Nelson

Re: Square Bale Hay Accumulator/Grapple "Grapalator"
I haven't used it but I think it's pretty slick. There is only one thing I don't like: It drags the bales on the ground. I have used a NH stacker wagon for years but it finally wore out. I ended up changing to a Hoelscher. I have friends who have a number of different ones, both drag and table, and think I looked at pretty much everything out there...I just didn't like the drag-type even though they were cheaper.
I would like to see how your unit operates with a tractor instead of a skid-steer. Tractors are not as maneuverable.

If you make a version for Nintendo, I have a nephew who could rack up a really high score on it.

Re: Square Bale Hay Accumulator/Grapple "Grapalator"
Our zipcode is 21811. What is the price of the accumulator alone? (without grapple). And do you make mounting brackets for a John deere 512 loader? Thanks alot for info.

Re: Square Bale Hay Accumulator/Grapple "Grapalator"
Hey I've been to Berlin. When I was about 14 my neighbor who was a truck driver at the time took me with him on a trip to Berlin.
You can call Allen or Phil at Burke Equipment in Seaford. 302/629-7500.
The list price on the Accumulator is $2,950.
We can put almost any mounting bracket you want on our products. We can do the 512, which is the same as the 542.
Thanks
Nelson

Thanks alot for the info. That dealer isn't too far away. We are just starting out in the hay business and we already have full time jobs elsewhere and the faster we can get hay out of the field would be great. Last year we got caught several times in the rain because of it. Once again, thank you.
