Hi Folks, im looking at a 310 New Holland Bailer. Late 70's i guess.

Price Seems Ok, i had a friend check it over and it appears to be in good order and well maintained. the only obvious issue is a missing set of Tines/Pickups (which are in the tool box). these mount to the rotating set of bars below (as most of you know)..my question is....there is also a small bracket that these tines attach to , the bracket in trun, mounts to the Bar.

The Bracket is missing, are they still available ?, or will i have to get one fabricated
?

I can't think of anything on them that isn't available from NH.

There are upper / and / or lower brackets, depending on whether you have the super-sweep options. On-Line NH Parts shows all the details and part numbers. That's a relatively "new" baler (1977 - 1981) !

Agree with all of the above, all those parts are readily available from any decent dealer, off the shelf stuff. In fact, if it's the part I'm thinking of, they still used on the newest balers as well...

(Edit) Hey - You just bought it while I was typing! :) good luck with it, and in finding the right haybine...

Thanks Guys !!

Im told that ill "have fun" leaning how to adjust Knotters....

the good new's is, the Baler comes with the original factory owners manual, so that will help.

Ill get one of the locals to give me a tutorial next summer
