Dimensions of King Kutter Pallet Mover

Can anyone tell me the dimensions of the KK pallet mover? Specifically, I need to know the length and outside measurement of the "forks". I am hoping for 48" in length and a width that will fit inside the basic pallet.

I am considering using this instead of an actual $1,000.00 set of adjustable pallet forks, and I plan on modifying the KK so that I can attach it to my FEL. Hopefully, this will be much less costly and have the same desired effect.

Also, can anyone weigh the pros and cons of having the fixed width KK pallet mover vs the traditional adjustable width pallet mover? Is the adjustable width actually necessary if one plans on moving mostly pallets?

Sorry I do have the kk pallet mover but not the dimensions.

I have been thinking of doing something similar. I want to put a speeco quick hitch and attach brackets so it will fit my loader then I could use my 3 point attachments also on the loader like the pallet mover.

I just spoke with KK. They stated that outside to outside is 30" and the total length of the forks is 43" which gives a useable length of about 40".

I wonder if I can weld some material to the end of the forks to give me another 8" or so of reach while not sacraficing strength? your thoughts?

I plan on using mostly pallets and may move some 4 ft wide deer stands, etc.
