I sent an email to customer service regarding some issues with the hitch, broken spring, release levers, set screws, shim missing ... once they identified the hitch as Pats and not an immitation ... the next email stated the parts would be in Mondays mail ...

When I asked in the reply, whats the cost ... I was informed NON !! The email stated "We stand behind our product"

Now thats customer service and customer satisfaction ... Just another reason to buy .... PATS EASY CHANGE SYSTEM !!!!

A GREAT BIG THANK YOU ... to Greenwell MFG as well as the lady who handled the emails with professionalism.

I bought Pat's "economy" hitch from AgriSupply and love it. Thankfully I never had to contact them (Greenwell MFG) with a problem. But with numerous feedback such as yours, I bought the hitch with confidence. Customer service seems to be a thing of the past for many things, it's good to know there are still companies who stand behind thier products. These are the companies that get my business, and I tell others about them. Good to hear everything worked out.

I agree. Pat could have chosen the all to familiar response that it was somebody elses fault and spent six months trying to avoid resolving the problem. Instead, he chose the response that the customer isn't completely satisfied and even though it might not be Pat's fault, he takes care of it immediately despite the fact it might cost him a couple of dollars.

But Pat gets it. Instead of the customer bashing the company and follow-up poor customer service, the customer is on this popular website proclaiming that great customer service is alive and well if you need a great option for your three point hitch.

So even though Pat might have spent a few dollars to resolve the problem I'm certain that he will sell more of his product and hence more profit for his company. Too many businesses take the oposite approach and try to save the $10 and then have a going out of business sale a year from now.

Its too bad that Pat doesn't teach a class at the business schools today.

If I am not mistaken, I believe Pat is a she instead of a he.

A few months back I ordered a set from "Pat's". I found them to not work on my tractor the way I wanted. I called Pat's and told them I wanted to return them, they could not have been any nicer. They paid the shipping both ways and never charged my credit card for the cost of the parts so there was no need for a refund. They were great pleople to work with.

I have Pat's quick hitch and now I don't think twice about putting attachments on or off. All the hassel is gone. I would get another set of Pat's quick change hitch in a heart beat if I ever aquired another tractor.

No Pat is a He. I bought mine from him personally at a tractor show in Louisville.
I made a comment here once that mine were broken............well a cotter pin broke. I only made that comment to say nothing had ever been wrong with mine except for a broken cotter pin. I got a reply from Pat that he would send 2 new ones out at no charge if I'd give him my address. I replied, I probably have some in the garage, but they still work so why remove them just to replace a 29 cent cotter pin? And I still have not removed them in over 6 years. Cotter pins still broke.

Did you have a photo of what they looked like before you sent them in?
