Precision Manufacturing does. Precisionmfg dot com. Price is $4000. Attaches to QA adapter and needs one or two (for rotating) hydraulic remotes. Looks like a nice unit and I'd consider one except for the expense. I was surprised they cost that much.

I did a quick google search for "tree shears". There are a number of manufacturers out there. Some require mass oil flow, like the bigger skid loaders are capable of. Others are disigned more for the flow rates of tractors. From what I saw regarding the prices, all of them will set you back aways. You also need to know the lift capacity of your tractor to size one properly.

I've priced a few and get quotes between 3500-4000 for true tree shears mounted either on the 3PT or loader and capable of cutting at least 10 inch trees. You can pick up a more limited "branch shear" or trimming shear that can cut up to about 5 inches for under 2K.

printolive,

I have one of the Precision Manufacturing shears that I use on my skidsteer and not my tractor, for several good reasons. Let me know if you want some detail.

Island Tractor,

Do you have a link for those branch shears?

They call it a hydraulic limb clipper. It attaches to a bale spear but when I talked to they manufacturer they said it could be adapted to work with forks too. It is clearly not designed for horizontal cutting and the owner advised not to try to adapt it for that type of work. URL is Hydraulic Limb Clipper to fit Bale Spike on Front End Loader . I forget exactly the cost but it might have been $1499.
