Anyone ever heard of this brand? There is a 60" 3pt at an on-line auction near me for $165
( current bid ). I haven't gone to look at it yet but the pictures look ok.

They made the flails for a lot of older tractors. I have a belly flail on my 1950 cub that was made for IH by mott. I was able to get new knives and belt for it without any trouble

I've never seen one myself but they are well known and respected flails. Not sure if they are still made but I'm pretty sure parts are available.

I bought a Mott flail mower a while back. I believe it is a 7' model for $250. with a bad gearbox. The school system using it apparently never checked the oil. I have since replaced it, sandblasted, added paint, and it is ready for field work next spring.

It is an on-line auction and there are 6 bidding days left, so the price may well go up. I'm going on Saturday to look at it and see if it is worthwhile.JP.
