Hello all
I am not having any issues with the FEL I installed On my Yanmar,
although I do have a question about some FEL I have seen on other tractors,
this being the arched brace that runs accross the Hood area of the tractor from one side to the other..... what exactly is the benefit of this bar?
is this just a particular design for these particular loaders? or should I be using one on my tractor as well? I have'nt notticed any flexing or moving in this area of the loader,
I didn't buy it from a business and was'nt advised or mention from the individule the need of using one, I guess what I'm asking is do they have any benifit? and should I have one on my tractor?
Thanks Folks

If it's what I think your referring to, it's to stabilize the loader masts, some have a tendency to spread out under load.

If it's a brace going from mast to mast, there was some talk about JD 300 series loaders flexing a little, at the time I said mine didn't, But I do notice now under max load they do spread just a bit.
I may have to install a simple cross brace.

ok, thats kinda what I thinking they were designed for, I suppose its just a matter of the FEL rating and how much overloading one will do with them,
I have'nt actually used mine at full load and full lift although will pay attention when I do if any flexing happens,
