Hello All,
I have decided to purchase a chain harrow and lift for my tractor, problem is I can find plenty of chain harrows, just not the combination of chain and lift. Can anyone recommend a vendor?
Thanks all in advance
Rick

I've never seen just a lift for sale - by itself. Always either the harrow alone, or the harrow/lift combo. I simply made my own. It's been talked to death here, so you shouldn' t have any trouble at all getting the site search engine to bring you back stuff to look at.

When I considered a three pt lift, I looked things up and decided making one was not that hard. Is that an option?
They are all contraptions and none really works all that well.

I have a Wingfield's EconoDrag with 3pt frame. Works OK but it doesn't raise the harrow completely off the ground (it sags in the middle) when crossing the road. They have a heavier duty Standard model with a beefier frame.

If you are handy, sixdogs is correct. Not much to the frame. I am going to try to modify mine to stiffen it some.

You know, I considered a frame for the ten footer I wanted but decided against it. Went with two five ft sections and one ten foot bar. The units sort-of interlock together and two units are easier to handle and get under cover for winter.
This won't help if you have to lift around obstacles or go down the road but it worked for me.
