Nice implement.
Looks like a level of complexity and number of hydraulic circuits similar to a backhoe. Plus it's more specialized. I don't understand why the $5,000 price sounds high to anyone. A scrape blade with factory hydraulics for tilt, angle, and offset would cost as much and have fewer functions.

If JD made it it would be $15k. :)

We don't know what JD would charge.....but, if they charged 15k it too would be over priced.!!

I don't understand, he says "he has been reading this for 6yrs". Reading what?? did it take 6 yrs. to develop?? Blade looks very short, don't think your going to get alot of material in front before it rolls over the top. I'm sure a few will sell.

When the ground thaws maybe you could invite a TBN member with a little blade experience from your area to demo your mini maintainer and get back to us?

You've never priced pickups have you.

Absolutely I have. No way in heck would I pay $50,000 for a truck. Maybe a house, a fixxer upper.

Let's just say that the mini-maintainer would need to be used commercially for it to be worth $5,000. IMO.

If JD made it it would be $15k. :)

And if I made one for myself, it would cost 1k tops...and that includes the cost to get it powdercoated JD Green....

Seriously....not knocking your invention, its a really nice idea...but from a realistic point of view, if I'm gonna pay 5k for it, I just assume pay a little more and get the Grouser Belly blade....Not saying anything bad about you or your version, but I KNOW that in 2/3 years if I need parts or service Grouser will be around to take the call...and the grouser unit looks a little more heavy duty...

I cannot say that I will or will not be here in 2 to 3 years, however the parts will always be available. And you are right Grouser part will be there. As for being heavier duty it should be as it is meant for 45HP and larger tractors. They have a great product.

Yes I did and it was explained to me and I understand what I have done wrong. Sorry guys, I do not want to get into trouble again. This is a great forum!

It's a neat tool (although expensive since all the hydraulics). Good luck with it... definitely get some video of turning a bad, non-maintain road into a well groomed road.
