WoW, that's quite old, are you buying or selling it? It's really a old piece of equipment, not sure of It's value..

size, tilt, able to tilt or rusted up? Looks like about 6 foot. I wouldn't expect anyone to pay more than 100-150 for it but you never know.......

I am considering buying the blade...
unfortunately it is about 600 miles from where I am currently so I can't do any hands on examinations but from what I understand it works fine with nothing broken or damaged...

I would guess probably in the $300-$400 range. Lot's of metal in that one. Kinda' hard to tell for sure in the pic but it seems to only have angle, no offset or tilt. Really, it's worth will come down to how much someone is willing to pay to take it home. Someone could sandblast and paint it and it could be a really nice looking blade.

My first thought was 100 dollars then I looked harder and thought 75 or 50 dollars. If you consider the distance. oh my. I couldn't justify it even for 50 dollars. Her is a new one for comparison

Went back to see it better after kebos post. I agree, it is a heavy one.So you'd need to keep that in mind. Also how much use you plan to give it. But 1200 miles is a long way in my book.

It appears to have the ability of being set into multiple angles, you can clearly see all the notchs that it will lock into.
But as was said, thats a LONG round trip to take to pay much $$ for something sight unseen. It sure looks like a beefy unit.

The distance is only a factor because I am in FL and the blade is in GA...I plan to use the blade about 40 miles from where it is at my place in GA (where my tractor is)...I am just not able to give first hand impressions...

As for tilting...it looks like it has it's own top link for tilting???

I'd prob guess $150 to $175 be fair price for that one. Look at the metal in it, there is lots of bracing behind the blade and that is where the cheapies lack. You catch something with your corner with a cheapie and it'll either spin you around or bend the blade. It also looks to have a very heavy duty way of spinning the blade around instead of justa pin dropped down thru a plate. Looks very well made and should last a long time. Can't tell from the pictures but it might even be able to rotate in the housing and angle without cranking on your lift arm?

One built as good as that old girl would be prob double what that Countryline or similiar brand would be. One thing to check would be cutting edge though, make sure it is still usuable and not up into the main part of the blade or at least it should still be able to be flipped then is good for a long time. The added weight of this would also help in cutting and grading instead of riding over top of everything.

Good luck

There's lots of life left in that blade. Now the hook up looks a little odd, two sets of pins to attach to the arms and a built in top link.
