There was a post a while ago about sissors type grab hooks. Does anybody remember the title of it? I can't seem to find from searching. Thanks.

    Hey Danny,

I'm not sure if this is the one you're thinking of, but it's what I came up with! <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.tractorbynet.com/cgi-bin/compact/showflat.pl?Cat=&Board=genoperating&Number =143657&page=&view=&sb=&o=&vc= 1>Stone grabbing/lifting gadget.

Hope it's the one and helps!

I found several threads by searching on "Skidding tongs". Are these the things you were looking for? You might also try "grubbing tongs". Good luck

Golfgar4 - Yup, that's the link I was looking for. Thanks everyone. Oops, I see I mispelled "grab" in the title of this post.

I think I found what I'm looking for:

    http ://www.northerntool.com/cgi-bin/ncommerce3/ProductDisplay?prrfnbr=35154&prmenbr=6970

Now I need to find out if I can get a better price on this skidding tong somewhere, if not I'll go ahead and order it from Northern.

I think those come in to styles one is rated for skidding and the other is rated for lifting and skidding. If you are going to use them to lift with make sure you get the right one to be safe.
