Question on 5105M w/ 1000RPM option
I'm looking for info on the 5105M with the 1000RPM option, specifically the ease of use when switching back to the 540...I use multiple attachments on the road and need to know if it's an easy switch or time consuming before I buy..any info appreciated!

Re: Question on 5105M w/ 1000RPM option
Matt, this John deere specification page implies the standard setup has 2-speed pto, making 540 rpm at either 2100 or 1625 engine rpm. Another way to state it would be 540 or 750 pto rpm at 2100 engine. The optional 540, 540E, 1000 setup isn't clear whether there is a 3-speed gearbox or the third speed is a separate shaft like a mid or front pto ? They don't mention this option in their product page.
