What color paint matches best with the King Cutter color? I bought a new 6' tiller and wanted to do some touch up of the paint before spring gets here. Also, what are you guys charging per garden to till up with a rear mounted tiller and what are you charging per hour to bush hog? I was thinking the following below.

Tilling - $75 to $100 per garden. Also $70 per hour for travel time to haul machine too and from a garden away from where I live. Example garden plus two hours travel time invested on road too and from site ($240.00). I have been getting around here $50.00 to plow a garden and another $50.00 to disk it.

Bush Hogging - Average heigth of grass 3' to 4' tall at an average of one acre per hour with a 6' cutter behind a 50 to 60 pto hp tractor. Also charge $70 per hour for time invested going to and from the site. Example 5acres plus a two hour round trip. ($490.00) I was mowing bank repo two acres lots with house on them that was over 5' tall for $500.00 a shot and had no complaints.

Could have sworn I saw KK paint on a shelf somewhere. Send an email to KK and get their advice.

It's not new cat yellow. This is the color I painted all my KK attachments and it is a brighter yellow.

King Cutters are made in Winfield, Al. The assemble Rotary Cutters, Tillers, Finish Mowers that I am aware of. I see truck loads leaving out. I don't know if that helps or not. The color is a little darker that Land Pride. I own a Land Pride 72" (heavy duty). It is all my Oliver 550 can handle. The MF253 is sufficient pulling it. I till many gardens in Hamilton for fee. I have tried the Sicma (a 5 '), a Long (5.5') it was a piece of junk. I am on the second Land Pride. The first was a 5.5 ' the gear box is excellent. The problems is you have to watch the chain drive. The chain will stretch with heavy use and then it will ride over the bottom drive sprockets and tear open the coverpan. The tines are tough but a set will last about 1 year in sandy clay. Other soils will extend the life of the tines about 21/2 to 3 years.
