I have been looking at 3 pt hitch carry alls and most of them come in at just under $100....for the most part the load capacities are 400#-500#'s...

Now I see this one from Aggri Supply that looks no different from many of the others but it says the capacity is 1000#'s

They are asking $30-$40 more than the others but what makes it able to support twice as much?

That looks like the one I got from TSC. It was a King Kutter brand. I beleive the angle size and thickness is better on these 1000lb rated carryalls. When I was looking, the KK was heavier built and twice the capacity compared to others. I've used it quite a bit and have loaded it so full of firewood that I couldn't keep the front end of my Ford 850 on the ground. It was must have been around a 1000 lb load.

I also agree that looks exactly like my TSC carryall. I use mine for hauling large rocks and logs

Here is what I learned- IF you have a quick hitch or I Match- make sure the carry all is compatable or they offer an adapter.

After I purchased my KK brand I found out the hard way  I understand KK does make a model that is compatable- FWIW

I bought the TSC Carryall frame and had some small problems with my Land Pride Cat 1 quick hitch. If you bolt the planks directly to the vertical beams of the CarryAll, the top link hook of the Quck Hitch doesn't have the clearance necessary to grab the top link pin on the CarryAll. The QuickHitch top link hook is to thick to fit between the planks and the pin.

I took a 1/2 inch thick board that was 4 inches wide and set that vertically against the CarryAll vertical beams. I drilled holes through it. The CarryAll planks then went after that, in effect setting the CarryAll planks back 1/2 inch. Then my Quick Hitch top link hook had the clearance to get in and hook the CarryAll toplink pin.

Does anyone know if the "Pat's" Quick hitch system works well with the King Cutter carry-all?
Thanks!

Look at the shipping price vs. in store price... $98 extra to ship, my guess it is heavier then you think.

The bottom angle iron is turned differently from the TSC one - wish they would post the weight of both of them to determine the thickness of the steel...

I have this problem where I get overly interested in buying 'stuff' for my tractor. Then I assess my actual needs, look at my bank statement, and then don't end up buying most of it. :) So.... would a carry-all attachment serve a purpose that is not served by moving the same things in the FEL? Or is a carry-all mainly for moving things around when your FEL is not attached?
Thanks!
