Searched, read, searched some more and have come up empty.

Just bought a Ford 101, 14", 3-bottom plow that needs parts. Moldboard stamped 104409.

Specifically, shares (points) and shins are needed.

Found LH shins at Agri Supply but don't know the difference between LH and RH. If it is the direction the dirt is thrown when looking from behind the plow and tractor then I have a "right hand" plow. No shares at Argi Supply.

Crescent Forge is out of business, TSC doesn't list plow parts, Valu-Bilt doesn't list the Ford 101, Sweigard has been sent an email but no reply yet.

Share part # 104410
Shin part # 104403

"Farmwithjunk" has not posted in months and "HCJtractor" was sent a PM.

Any help in getting this figured out would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I think Leinbach plows use wear parts that will fit 101 plows.

TSC does not list the parts online, but my local TSC stores stock the shins and shares for the ford plows. I just saw some this past week as they got in a new supply for the spring. They also carry plow bolts, etc.
Agri Supply also carries these parts. You need the RH ford parts. I believe you want the F14-4RS share, item number 32009. The shin item number is 19035 which is a replacement for the ford number 104403.

Try here; http://http://www.shoupparts.com/

I got some parts from them for my Dearborn (same as your Ford I'm told) and they were quite helpful. I do know they have those moldboards and the rib shares. They also have the bolts.

I just sent you a PM with some info. The above advice is also good. These shares should be easy to find. Please post some pictures if you have any.

Ford850 is correct about those part numbers from Agri Supply. 19035 for shin - cost $11.95 ea., & 32009 for share - cost $ 17.95 ea. and it is a right hand.

dam Farmwithjunk was our resident expert on plow stuff. I hate to lose that kind of knowledge for a place like this....

Many thanks. It will take a while to go through all of the great leads.

It appears that my research skills need to be improved. There are good sources of plow parts everywhere. However, the best source of information is right here on TBN.

The price you must pay for this info is to share pictures of your project! We all like to see what others are working on! Feeds our addiction to old tractor stuff.
