Dang, who has the nice looking rig now??? :D That's sharp, nothing like a little red to go with the green lol. I think you made a good choice too, at least it should serve you well. If I were you, I would consider taking out the two bolts in the middle (that lock the gang angles in position) and replace them with pins of the correct dia and length. That would make it quicker/easier to adjust the gang angles. Good luck with it, you're ready to dig up some dirt now.

Nice rig!

And some free advise that I follow...When out in the field, don't forget to lift your disk up when making a sharp turn. It's a lot of torque on the lower arms and disk, otherwise. And sometimes it is good to pin your lower arm width in the holes that allow for some movement, (the ones that have the long ovalled hole instead of the round one). That way your disk can "flex" a little bit as you go over the ground.

Where are you in N. Florida? I used to live at Waycross.

Kebo, Redbug,

Thanks for the compliment on the equipment. Come on now Kebo, you don't like those combo colors? Good idea on the pins.

Tried the DH out putting in some firelines around a few acres. It did a good job I think. Part unplowed ground, part I had previously plowed with a middlebuster.

Thanks for the reminder on the turns Redbug. Also, on my JD I have sway/anti-sway chains. I left a small amount of slack in both chains. Not exactly the same system as on a Kubota lower arm but it must serve the same purpose. Incidentally, do most of ya'll hail from South Carolina?

Redbug I live about 40 miles or so west of Gainesville. GO GATORS!!! Approxmately 20-25 miles from the Gulf as the crow flies.
