- 2001 John Deere 790 4x4, bar tires
I have a John Deere Van Brunt grain drill that I thought I might be able to restore to the point that we could use it at my hunt club to seed some of our food plots with. Well, I don't really have anywhere to park it out of the rain, and I don't think I'm going to be able to devote the time and attention it needs to become a functioning unit so I'm thinking about putting it up for sale. I really hate to see it go to waste sitting in the yard. It really needs a fair amount of work, so I should consider that in the price. On the other hand, it's a 7x9 drill (about 7ft wide with 9 seed drop chutes) and I'm told this size of drill is very hard to come by now so that might add to the value. I will attach a couple pic's for you to judge it with. They were taken right after it was pulled out of a barn, it's been sitting out in the weather for about 8 months, so it doesn't look quite as good now. What would your asking price be?
