They make two different sizes. I don't remember the exact dimensions but the narrow ones around 26-1/2" wide the wide one's around 27-1/2" wide.

Here is a link to the ASAE standard that the QH's follow: ASAE

More often than not, it's the measurement from the lower pins to the top pins that is that problem.

Sorry should have said more. The adapter that mounts on top of the HF quick hitch. It allows for a greater range of implements that will work on quick hitch. I think the part number is 29309 and it costs around 10 bucks. I just need the opening between the tabs that attach to the quick hitch.

I have a HF quickhitch and love it. What I hate are the few implements that claim to meet the standard but don't. Vertical distance has never been a problem, but the horizontal distance between the bottom hooks is a pain. Once you get a hitch, be sure to shop with a tape measure in your hand to make sure you don't end up with a non-standard "standard" 3-point implement.

Good luck!

I have the HF hitch, and have seen the Landpride. I believe it will fit. Landpride does make an add-on of their own, but it simply two metal bars with a hole in each end of each bar. That is something which could be easily made from scrap metal.

They call it a floating top link assembly.

Here it is. it's 1 and quarter wide. On the inside and its 1 and seven eights on the outside. You need the outside dimension, not inside. The HF adapter goes on outside on the QH. I am not sure If you trying to using the otherway around.
