What is the weight savings on the 54" with lighter v. heavier steel?

It's about 25 pounds. That may not seem like much but every little bit helps when it comes to agility and maneuverability.

Tim, since you quoted me, I'll give you a reply. I have a 32 hp and think a 54" is plenty for the tractor to lift. But I have not owned one yet. Apparently, EA thinks the same.

I have a JD 3320 with 300CX loader. Would I be looking at the 54" or 60" loader? Also, has there been a change in the steel used on these?

No, the listed weight is for the heavier version. We do not have the ultra light weight updated yet.

Called and talked with Travis just before they closed. He stayed late to answer all my questions and explained why he felt the 54" ultra light was a better solution for my tractor. I'm happy to say that my order is placed and I'm excited for it to arrive so I can get to work!

Thanks Tim! I can't wait to see it on that JD. That will be a perfect combo.

Travis/Ted, I saw several posts on various EA threads requesting a 48" grapple with a single gripper rather than the double grippers you have been building. Is there any consideration in building such a 48"?

Ted did think about designing one but the majority of customers wanting 48" grapples have small tractors generally without quick attach and he isn't interested in doing any custom mounts at this time.
Most customers i've talked to prefer the double lid design, especially with our 54" Wicked Grapple being as light as it is.
I wouldn't totally count the 48" out for the future, but the next grapple out of our factory will be a C shaped grapple rake like the Bradco Compact Root Rake. It was supposed to be designed and on the market already but has been pushed back because we've been so busy this spring.
