Finally got the hydros done and tried my single lid grapple ,it was a short trial as i will have to extend my hoses or possibly put some 90's on since my QC mount is on a bracket and not floating as EA recommends but she picked up a big ole log without breaking a sweat..

BTW; tell peanut he owes me a quart of oil since he forgot to tighten one of the hoses.

I will try to post a video when I get the hoses sorted out

I tried a small kind of rake , thatcher for my riding mower to rake up leaves around my place, it does not do the job I had hoped it would. Now I am thinking of getting one of your pine straw rakes. I have a 35 HP Kabota L3400. I am thinking the 6 foot one or the 5 foot one, that could get into tighter places. I am think the 6 foot one will get the job done faster so I am more inclined to want that one. What would the costs be to ship to Oregon? Plaease give me the total cost of both rakes.

Now there is a service you do not see everyday......
Your vendor posting pics of your new toy as it is in final assembly!

We allways gave customers the opportunity to visit the factory when their wheel loader was in the final stage of assembly. Too bad its over, the last three sold units will get built and then i have to go job hunting...

That shouldn't be too far for him to deliver it on Saturday or something.
Hey, if he does that he can operate the tractor while you work the camera.....he'll be right at home.

Seriously, sorry about that....i'll let him know.
We'll be looking forward to a video!

We've sold some for that purpose, but I haven't heard of how good they work for thatching or raking leaves. In theory, it should do fine as long as the leaves are big and/or thick. I doubt it'd work very good on leaves like pin oaks.
Just add $60 to the ETA Pine Needle Rakes on our website to get the total. No tax, and it ships to your door via UPS or Fed-ex ground.

Thanks, the little one I have picks up all kinds of stuff once it gets moving, but it clogs fast, and as the tines are not in the same row it is hard to clean. I will use the little riding mower thatcher I have as a thatcher, I just have a lot to rake. I love not spending all day doing the raking. I am going to need it by this fall so I will be ordering it soon. I like the way it is put together, your Youtube video talks about welding spring steel and how it makes it brittle, and how yours is not, that is true. I work for Boeing, and my field is dealing with metal stress and preventing cracks, so I am a bit of an expert at this. From all the rakes yours looks the best to me.

Cool, i'm pretty sure that my old neighbor(as in not presently, and his age) retired from Boeing in WA State. I think he's been down here around 4-5yrs.

That's a shame. Too much manufacturing heads to cheap labor countries. We've lost our steel and along with it the industries using steel. Our scrap iron leaves the country as well. It has a terrible ripple effect downward. Good luck with the job search!
