I looked at the holes again today. It could be what I am seeing is the holes in the bracket having been enlarged by the arms coming loose and the bolts gouging up the holes a bit.

Bottom line is for me the bolts/nuts aren't holding the bracket in place well enough. I'll was hoping you had some suggestion how to make it work.

I'll try to come up with a longer bolt maybe and try star washers and double nuts. I took the gauge wheel arms off until I can find a way to keep them in place.

After I confirmed that the hole diameters were supposed to match, I requested pics so we could see exactly what was happening. Pictures are generally worth much more than words.

Since you've discovered that the holes are enlarged, probably from being too loose, I think that the best fix is to drill the holes to match and put the proper size bolt in for a snug fit.
If the holes are the same size and the bolts are tight to prevent movement, everything should stay secure and prevent future issues.

I hope this helps. Feel free to give me a call if you have anymore questions.

You must not have gotten as much rain today as Fort Wayne received, if you were able to grade your driveway
We were getting dumped on most of the day

Is that a 3 inch square tube for the scarifiers?
Wonder how thick the walls are on it?

Looks like a well built boxblade!

Lilranch, I am in Columbia City so it did rain all day so not really a good time to grade the driveway. But I have been putting it off waiting on this thing so anything is better than it was.

From the site on the blade:
3/8" thick tube, and hitch.
17" side plates of 1/2" thick steel (!)
1/4" thick curved back.

It is a beast. It was also tricky to get off the truck because the end was at the end of the truck and I only have 42" forks. I could only slightly get past the middle of the thing to lift it.

I received the 72" Wicked Root Grapple this evening. Since it is my birthday, good timing, Everything Attachments. In the dark it looks like I should add some welds to the sistered front tines since at least one of them isn't laying flush with the main support and i have a concern about one day hitting a rock and folding it over.

On inspection in the daylight, the weld you have are strong. It just looks like the material moved when it was welded. Slow down and use two clamps for the next guy. You can get your time back by speeding up in the paint booth to avoid the runs.
