I'm looking for a high rate (5-10 GPM) 12 pump for irrigation and spraying Round Up. I have a 200 gallon tank that I will be using. I could use a roller pump but I would rather not get a pump that requires my tractor.
I don't need high pressure (45-60 psi is plenty). What is the best 12 volt pump for this rate, pressure and application? Thanks.

Have you looked at any of the CDS-John Blue Industrial pumps, they have 12 volt models that may work for you, check out this site:
The CDS-John Blue Ag pumps are one of the best, and have been in business a long time.

You can get 12v pumps in a wide range of gpm from any camper supply outlet. I see the same ones used on sprayers that are sold by the ag stores like TSC.

I use a 12v pump that I bought from TSC. They use the same pump on their sprayer outfits. Its pumping rate is 1-5 gpm, depending on pressure. I use it as an emergency (when rain tanks are empty) pump to supply the soaker hoses (covering 20 rows at 50' each) in my garden. Works well for that; won't be enough for any overhead irrigation. I have occasionally pumped up hill (100' vertical, 43.2 psig) to get water into my rain tanks with it. The pumping rate is less than just pumping on flat terrain to the garden.

Here's what I'm planning on doing: 2.1 gpm pumps are cheap. I plan on using 2 and run the the plumbing to 2 sets of nozzles on the boom. One set will be in the middle and the other to the outside. When I need to spray a narrow row between trees, I'll just use the middle boom section and one pump. When doing fields, use both pumps and full boom.
