Hey everyone, I am searching for a grapple rake to replace the 48" bucket on my MF GC2410. My existing bucket weighs 177 pounds and most of the grapple rakes that I find weigh from 270 to 345 pounds :confused2:.
Has anyone installed a grapple rake on this model MF or another SCUT of a different color?
What width would be good, 35", 40", 44" 48" (Anbo)?
Is there a quick attachment that does not add a bunch of extra weight?
I could sure use some good ideas to lead me the right direction. My concern with the heavier weight of the grapple rake is the reduction of my lifting capacity.
Also, I would like some good ideas about hooking up the hydraulics, reading the threads, it sounds like a lot of folks use the hydraulics from the back hoe.
I plan on using it for cleaning up ground fuels, limbs, and a few 18 diameter trees on my 3 acre wooded property. I also would like to rake the ground in some areas to get rid of some of those Montana's round hard dirt clods - rocks :D.
Thanks, KC
