Been looking to get a PTO post hole digger for a couple months but did not want to spend $600-700 for a new one. I found a lightly used Danuser G20/40 with 9" auger for $275 at a small town pawn shop. Other than a few scratches the Danuser is in great shape. The store owner was selling it on consignment for a retired farmer who told him to get what he could for it. Said he then went to an area farm supply store and priced a new Farm Star brand PHD at $450, so I think I did ok.

From the picture, it does not appear that that unit has seen very much work at all. I think you did well for yourself.

Yep, that was a good deal. In fact, I think it's one of those deals where you can buy it, use it, turn around and sell it and get your money back out of it (if you wanted to).

You're just bragging with this post. If you picked up an almpost new Danuser for 275 with an auger of course that is a fantastic price. Want to sell it for 375?
