I bought a P1205S Mitsubishi tiller with 2 pt hitch. How can I make it fit my Kubota BX2350 3 pt hitch??????????

Do you have photos of the tiller in question??? Can you weld or do you need this to be able to bolt together? Can you bend steel?

I can weld and bend metal. I saw similar conversions on this forum - but I failed to get the posting people's names - so I can't find them. I've tried every keyword that I could think of. I'd appreciate any help available to locate these posting. They overcame the delema that I'm in. Thanks, Fred

I converted one, but I never posted the project. I built and A-frame adapter. I had a solid bar on the bottom of the A-frame that the bottom 2 points of the tiller attached to. Then I had a removable bar higher up on the A-frame that would slide through the holes on the lift arms of the tiller. On the outside of the A-frame I put pins in the right places to accept the 3 point hitch for my tractor.

I never cut or welded a thing on the tiller. The A-frame adapter was completely removable.

Wow: I'd sure like to see a pic of what you did. There were some postings with pics of similar tiller conversion. Any idea of how I could locate them? I did not note those posters names. Anything is possible??

I've since sold the tiller, and I didn't take any pictures. Here's a sketch from memory. The Blue bar in the picture is where the bottom two pivot points of the tiller attached. The red bar is where the top lift linkages attached. The yellow pins are where the tractor's 3 point hitch attached. I had to make the "box" in the middle of the red bar to allow the PTO shaft to come through.

The blue bar was welded solid. The red bar would slide out. I think I even drilled and put pins through the blue bar to keep the tiller centered where it needed to be. My tiller was an Iseki tiller. I don't know if the Yanmar or Mitsubishi tillers are different. You can probably take this concept and adapt it to whatever brand you want.

The basic concept is this. Build an A-frame that fits a 3 point hitch. Then weld on attachment points where they need to be for the 2 point tiller to hook up to it.
