Hi
I posted this in the KIOTI forum but now think it might be more suited for this area.

Came across a Princess Auto add for front mount quick hitch | Princess Auto

It is made by a company in the USA called SpeeCo Inc. - Log Splitter, Tractor Parts, OEM and Farm Accessory Contact information

A few questions:

Only found one reference to the SpeeCo 3PH and it seems some folks had to do some alterations to make the spacing work properly a few years ago.

Has anyone used one of these recently? With what implements?
How did it work?
Was it substantially built? What kind of weight would it easily carry?
Any warnings?

I am contemplating mounting my 76" Meteor Snowblower on my DK 45SE HST loader and running it with a hydraulic PTO pump and motor set up.

This looks like it might save a lot of trial and error in the fabrication of a mount if it will fit the quick attach on the loader and is strong enough to do the job.

Any experience and opinions welcomed.

Thanks
Bob

A few years back I too was looking for a way to attach 3pt equipment to my loader. Since I have more then one attachment I wanted to use and the pins on the equipment are spaced differently, I needed one that was adjustable. This is what I came up with. I took the plans to a local fabricator who eagerly made one up for me at his cost, and now sells them locally here. It is all welded up on a quick tach plate so it fits most later model tractors/skid loaders. The pin holess can be adjusted to any width. I have had very good luck with it. I use it all the time with my boom crane and boom pole. It is strong enough to lift anything my tractor is capable of lifting. It is probably not the best picture of it. If interested I can get some more close up's.

That's a great idea. I would like to see close-ups, too. It looks like you
have some square tubing with a bracket welded to slide on the outside of it.

My FEL 3-pt hitch just uses arms, links, and sway chains, just like on the
back of a tractor.

Here's some close ups. It started out as a regular quick tach adaptor plate available everywhere. Some square tubing and some plate material. And an accomplished welder and this is what I ended up with. The only thing I would change is that the top link hitch assembly, I would have welded to the front of the square tubing. This would put it closer in-line with the lower links. But other than that it has worked great. We were both a little concerned about side ways slipping, since there is no way to pint the lower links at any given width. But it has not been an issue. Once you get the weight of the implement on hitch, it pretty much stays put. Let me know if you would like any other views.

Again, excellent idea. Thx for posting.
