I twisted up the driveline to my mower. It's the triangular type. Can someone tell me the right name for that shape? It is the piece that slides inside. I've tried a couple farm stores around me but they don't have that shape. Where's a good source for the tube only? Thanks.

We have the tubing, however, you will need to determine the size and the easiest way to do that is to caliper the wall thickness and then measure from the flat on the 1 triangle side to the other side. With those figures we can fix you up or you can take your old piece to a tractor dealer or TSC store. Ken Sweet

Ken,

do you have half shafts w/ or w/o the u-joint? i have #4 triangle (i think #4....1.5" across) and could use a longer female section.

thanks.

Dave, We can cut to length what ever you need. We can also add a Yoke to it, if needed? Do you need a piece measuring across the triangle as I described above 1 1/2" and we need to know the wall thickness. Ken Sweet

i measured the ID of the female and OD of the male.

that's where i looked mine up as #4. 38mm (1.496") OD on the male, which should be 43.5mm (1.712") OD on the female...but i have to check that. but it's the only one w/ 1.5" OD on the male. i also have to verify that i measured from the indexing corner. think i did, but now am not positive.

any idea what a piece would cost? let's say 5" without a yoke.

i might have found some cutoff scrap that someone will send me for shipping, but they have to check the dimensions.

thanks.

I am going to back out of this thread and you will be in good hands with CCM. No need for both of us getting you confused. Ken Sweet
