I have a dearborne 2 disc plow that needs bearings and seals. The only trouble is that no one seems to have the bearings or seals for the plow. Just wondering if any one could help me locate these parts. thanks for any information you may have.

Gonna bump this back up to the top and hope someone gives you an answer. This is one of those questions that Farms with Junk coulda prolly answered....or at least steered you in the right direction. But I'm told he wont be back at this forum again as he tends to hold to his opinion against a few others. I miss that guy, his humor, direct demeanor, and his sound advice. :(

CNH still shows a parts listing for these plows. Hopefully this link will stay active, and take you to that page...

https://webparts.pvassociates.net/cnh/webparts/main.php

(Type in disc plow, in model selection box)

If you can get the actual number from the bearing and seal..., try here. Usually if you get the bearing number, they will offer the cup and bearing selection also.

JBR 17 LLC

These folks are really reasonable on their bearings and seals.. Takes about a week to get them, at least for me, here in Ohio..., but worth the wait pricewise.

You can also go to Messick's, I believe they are an advertiser on this board. They are very helpfull and just shipped me parts for my Ford 101 plow...

Have you tried a bearing and seal supply house, like Motion Industries, etc? If you can get the old bearings and seals out I'm 99% sure that there would be a modern equivelent that they could cross reference to, probably at a fraction of the cost of what you would get at the dealer as well.

That's why I suggested if he got the numbers of the bearing's and seal, to try JBR. I did get one number to cross through the John Deere site, where you can cross reference other manufacutrer's numbers. It was for one of the bearig races/cups. $26.99 at John Deere, and $16.00 and some change at JBR, and what I have gotten so far have been Timken/U.S.A bearings...

You can also compare shop at NAPA online on bearing numbers and seals. Our Motion Industries are right in line with NAPA. I saved $12.00 alone, on the brake seals for my 310B, by getting them at JBR, versus M.I. & NAPA.

Thanks for all the help. I will check out all the leads. I have misplaced the numbers I got off the bearings a few months ago so I plan to take the plow apart this weekend to get the numbers again.

Got large cone/cup for my Dearborn 10-80 from Dixie Bearings in Gastonia NC.
Timken 33262/33462.

Bearings cost more than I gave for the plow.
Had to make the felt seals with a gasket cutter.
