Looking at a Land Pride RTA 1550 tiller that was used one time. How much are these unit new? are they good tilers? I have the opportunity to purchase it for $1200 used one time. Would a County Line 50" New on sale for 1199.00 be a better deal? The land pride was used once. Still has paint on the tines. Thanks

Me personally, I would try and get the Landpride for maybe $1050 or $1100, if the seller will come down any at all. After having owned a Landpride 4ft bushhog for 10 years (sold it 2 years ago and new owner still cutting with it) I can vouch for the quality of their equipment. I don't know the retail cost of that tiller new, but I'm pretty sure it would be up around the $1500-$1700 mark, maybe more??

I have the same model, landpride is well made. I bought mine for$1000 ,thats less than 1/2 price

I have had an RTR 1558 for the past 2 seasons and it is a great tiller. The RTR is a reverse tine tiller, the RTA is a forward tiller. The quality is excellent on the Landpride.
I WISH it was a reverse tiller. But I can't pass on this deal.

The RTR/RTA models by LandPride are good tillers, the RTRs are about $200 more than the RTA models, so you paid about $800 or so below retail for your essentially new tiller.
