I haven't planted peas but a book I have suggests a cast iron H-1257 B. That plate measures 26-16-20 or .406" x .250" x .312". The closest thing I can find in a lustran plate is B30-16 or 24 which measures 26-16-20 or .406" x .219 x .281". You can call Lincoln Ag to see what they might recommend or even send seed to see if they can match for you. (402) 464-6367 FAX: (402)-464-7657. If you want to go to their site just put Lincoln Ag on your browser and you should get a hit. BSOG1 and BSORG2 in sorghum plates might also work for you if your seed is small. Those plates measure .375" x .203" x .312" and .375" x .203" x .234".

I think Yetter made that planting unit for Deere and they would probably be a good source for plates. Ken Sweet

Not sure what size the peas are, but I would thnk a soybean plate might work. Just a thought.

I use the soybean plate (Lustran) for planting peas and green beans. Population rate comes out just where I like it. I like it a little on the heavy side so I can thin if need be. Around here, rabbits do the thinning for me!
